Thank you to all the players who participated in this year’s tryouts. 

We know tryouts can be exciting and also challenging. For those who made a team this season, congratulations we’re excited to see your continued development. For those who did not, please know this is not the end of your basketball journey. Many great players have faced this same moment, and what matters most is how you continue to learn, practice, and grow.

To support every player, we’ve put together a list of additional resources and opportunities for skill development outside of our league. These programs can help you continue improving and prepare for future seasons.

We believe in every player’s potential, and we hope you’ll stay connected with our league community whether you're on a team this year or working toward the next opportunity.

For players who did not make a team, Schenectady CYO offers a great opportunity to continue playing, developing skills, and staying involved in basketball.  Schenectady CYO recently launched its website at SchenectadyCYO.org, where families can learn more about CYO basketball teams.  To get started visit the website and use the contact form to submit your email address or request additional information.
